Why Infortrend ESVA?

• Optimize Returns of Investment - Through storage virtualization technology, the capacity and computing power of multiple ESVA storage systems can be consolidated into a storage pool. For the most efficient utilization of pooled storage capacity, ESVA arrays support thin-provisioning on its natively-virtual architecture. Just-in-time capacity is dynamically allocated to applications when data are written. It much reduces TCO by (1) minimizing the space, power and cooling expenses wasted on the large and underutilized data volumes commonly seen in traditional storage environment and (2) delaying additional storage purchases to make you leverage storage price declines. Besides capacity, the ESVA Series also ensures efficient utilization of bandwidth. • Simplify Storage Infrastructure - The storage pool the ESVA systems constitute greatly simplifies management because it presents a single point of administration. Scaling with the ESVA storage pool is also a very easy task. To expand capacity, you can scale up the member ESVA subsystems by connecting with expansion enclosures. If you want to increase capacity and promote performance in one shot, you can also choose to scale out the virtualized foundation by adding additional ESVA arrays. All scaling and configuration tasks can be done online. When a new system is added, the distributed load balancing technology would dynamically balance workloads among member storage systems so that the processing power can linearly grow. The blazing power promoted several times greater along with capacity expansion can handle even the most performance-demanding applications. If you remove a system from the pool, the load-balancing technology would also automatically migrate data to maintain the optimized performance without disrupting service.
