The ESS16E Systems are aniSCSI Host to SAS or SATA drives with JBOD Exansion to 64 Drives on the Dual Controller units or to 80 drives in the Single Controller units. Each Controller comes with Four(4) 1Gb Ethernet Ports that can handel multiple connections per TCP Session. The expansion is handeled through a SAS 4x3Gb(12Gb) Multi-lane Connection for one of the fastest pipes available.
